IIM Amritsar has released the admission criteria for the MBA class of 2025-27. The selection process mainly includes CAT scores followed by a Personal Interview for selected candidates.

The minimum percentage cut-off for the general category is at 90 percentile but a lot of weightage is given for PI in final selection which is around 70%. Accepted Exams are CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, and UGC/CSIR-JRF.

IIM Amritsar conducts its own entrance test for some of its programmes like AAT (for EMBA), IET (for IBM), RAT (for PhD).

The CAT 2024 result is declared regarding admission to the MBA and PGDM courses and the application process for MBA admissions will start in January 2025. IIM Amritsar would consider all factors such as CAT scores, PI performances, academic history, amongst others.
