The overall expected IIM Nagpur cut-off is 94 percentile, with a sectional cut-off of 73 percentile. The cut-off for OBC candidates is 77 percentile overall and 50 percentile sectional. To be eligible for the Personal Interview (PI) round, candidates must have a CAT Score.

If the candidate scores more than the qualifying IIM Nagpur CAT cut-off (94 percentile) for, they will be eligible for the PI round in April 2025. This year, IIM Nagpur will participate in IIM CAP 2025 and shortlisting will be done by IIM Kashipur. The IIM Nagpur PGP admission process includes two stages:

IIM Nagpur has not yet released the CAT-Cut-off 2024. However, the qualifying CAT Cut-off for the year 2023 for IIM Nagpur was 94, while the sectional cutoff was 70 percentile for the general category candidates.

IIM Nagpur Cut-Off Admission Process and Seat Reservation

The IIM Nagpur PGP admission process includes two stages:

  • Conduct of WAT-PI round
  • Final selection of candidates for admission

The batch size for MBA 2024-26 was 280 students. So we can expect the batch size to be 2025-27 sessions within 300. The table shows the available category-wise reservations and seats.

IIM Nagpur Selection for PI Process

Only applicants who meet the qualifying cutoff percentile and complete the application form for the CAP process before the last date will be shortlisted for the PI round.

  • The selected candidates will receive provisional admission offers by email.
  • To confirm the acceptance of the offer, the candidate must pay an offer acceptance fee of Rs. 1,00,000, which will be adjusted towards Term fees.
  • A commitment fee of Rs 50,000 is needed to obtain confirmation

PI Round and Final Selection

If you are shortlisted and you have confirmed your interest in MBA admissions at IIM Nagpur, you will be called for the PI round. The final selection will be done on the basis of the below-mentioned formula:

FS = 0.25* (PI Score) + 0.50* (CAT Score) + 0.05 * (PAP Score) + 0.10* (WE Score) + 0.10* (GDI Score)

  • PI Score: the score obtained in the PI round will be rescaled to 0-10.
  • CAT Score: (Total Score obtained by the candidate / Max total CAT Score)*10
  • GDI Score: 10 points will be awarded to female and transgender candidates
  • The selected candidates will receive confirmation through e-mail. To confirm the acceptance the candidate has to pay a fee of INR 75000.

IIM Nagpur CAT Cut-Off Academic Scores

The Past Academic Performance Score (PAP Score) of class 10th and class 12th are considered. It will be calculated as follows:

PAP = (0.40*A+0.60*B)

The selection process for admission to LNMU varies depending on the course:

  1. BTech - Candidates must have a valid JEE Main scorecard and register for counselling and seat allotment.
  2. MTech - Candidates must have a GATE scorecard and a relevant BTech/BE degree.
  3. MBA - Final selection is based on performance in entrance exams, group discussions, and personal interviews.
