CAT Question Paper FAQs

Using the Paper Library

Is the CAT 2026 question paper available?+

CAT 2026 will be held on 29 November. Previous-year papers are available for preparation; the 2026 paper will follow the exam.

Which years should I solve first?+

Start with 2025 and 2024 for the most recent completed format. Use 2021-2023 for more practice in 40-minute sections, and 2017-2019 for additional questions in the older 100-question format.

Can I use a paper from another slot?+

Yes. Each slot has different questions. Use the solutions for that same slot when calculating your score.

Do these PDFs all contain solutions?+

Use the Question paper and Solutions links beside the relevant year, section and slot. Some resources combine questions and answers in one file; others have a separate answer key.

Will the practice result show my expected CAT percentile?+

No. It shows accuracy on the original practice set. A CAT percentile compares performance across candidates and cannot be calculated from a short drill.
