CAT 2026 responses will be available after the 29 November examination; the release date has not been announced. The response sheet records your answers and must be compared with the matching key to calculate raw marks.
It is different from the result scorecard. Keep MCQs, typed answers and blanks separate: only wrong MCQs attract a one-mark deduction.

Evidence and Scorecard

- Save your response record and the key version used.
- Keep the disputed question, its context and your reasoning.
- Retain the formal submission acknowledgement and applicable receipt.
- Keep personal response URLs and credentials private.
- Use the scorecard for official scaled scores and percentiles, not a raw-mark percentage.

Response-Sheet Questions
Can I download my scorecard from the response-sheet tab?+
They are different documents released for different purposes. The response sheet records your test answers; the scorecard belongs to the result stage. A response-sheet release should not be described as the declaration of the CAT result.
Should I enter my email address as the CAT user ID?+
Use the login credentials issued for the account. The registered email is used in the Forgot User ID/Password recovery process; that does not mean it is automatically the login user ID.
Can I replace a wrong response when objections open?+
No. The objection process concerns the question or official key, not an edit to the answer you entered during the exam. Solving a question correctly later does not change the recorded response.
Why is my own tally lower than a calculator result?+
Check whether the calculator counted wrong typed answers as zero, distinguished blanks from wrong MCQs and matched the same key version. Also confirm the session and question mapping. These checks resolve a raw-score mismatch; they do not establish which percentile estimate is correct.
Can a CAT section have negative raw marks?+
The marking scheme can produce a negative tally: three correct MCQs earn nine and ten wrong MCQs deduct ten, giving -1 before other responses are included. Do not silently round a negative raw section total up to zero.
Can I use a question-paper PDF instead of my response sheet?+
A paper shows questions, not your personal recorded answers. It can help identify a question, but it cannot establish whether you selected the correct option or entered the right typed value during the test.
Does an 80-mark raw tally mean a fixed percentile?+
No. The example on this page adds to 80 raw marks; it is not a percentile prediction. The official result uses the applicable processing and candidate performance distribution, which a personal response tally does not supply.
Will my response download stay available until score validity ends?+
The CAT 2026 score is valid until 31 December 2027, but that does not establish the response-sheet download deadline. Those are separate dates. The current response download window has not been announced.

Hey Khushi! You can practise NTA JEE main mock tests at your home as well as you can attempt them at the nearest test practise centre. The choice is entirely yours. You simply have to login with your credentials and make your choice.
Candidates can apply for the PDUSU admission online through the official website. Click on the 'Admission' link, and check for eligibility. Post checking the eligibility, click on the 'Apply Online' link, fill in the required details, and submit the y application after paying the specified fees. Applicants must also upload their recent photograph, signature, scanned copies of 10th, 12th, and degree certificates, fee payment challan, and Government ID proof.
Hello Abhishek! If you have successfully registered at the official NTA website to avail the facility of the Test Practice Centre then you can visit the Centre. Your parents may drop you at the test centre but they will not be allowed to enter the test centre during the exam or practise mock tests.
The selection process for admission to LNMU varies depending on the course:
- BTech - Candidates must have a valid JEE Main scorecard and register for counselling and seat allotment.
- MTech - Candidates must have a GATE scorecard and a relevant BTech/BE degree.
- MBA - Final selection is based on performance in entrance exams, group discussions, and personal interviews.
- UG - The merit list is based on intermediate marks, reservation, and your choice of college. After admissions are complete, spot admissions are based on the third merit list
- Other entrance exams accepted for admission to LNMU include MAT and CMAT.
For Undergraduate courses, applicants must have a completed 12th grade with 45% aggregate marks, 40% aggregate for restricted categories.
For Postgraduate courses, applicants must complete their graduation with at least 50% of their degree in their respective stream from an accredited university. 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST students.
