CAT 2022 Updates:

IIM Jammu CAT cut off 2022 has not been released yet. This cut off will be released once the CAT exam 2022 gets over and the results are available online in the official website. IIM Jammu CAT cut off 2022 will be used for the admission in MBA courses for the academic year 2023-25 through Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) and Common Admission Process (CAP).

  • CAT cut off 2022 will be decided on the basis of various factors like reservation criteria, CAT score, Performance in the Personal Interview, Gender diversity considering male and female, Academic profile, Work experience, Marks in 10th, Marks in 12th, Performance in the Graduation degree.
  • The candidates applying through CAT 2022 need to secure a minimum CAT overall percentile of 90 for general candidates; 54 for SC candidates; 40 for ST candidates; 74 for EWS candidates andr NC-OBC candidates; and 40 for DAP candidates.
  • The candidates also need to secure the good sectional cut offs decided by IIM Jammu to qualify for the personal interview and to get shortlisted in the prepared merit list.
  • The merit list preparation has a weightage of a total of 100 marks consisting of 40 marks for CAT score 2022; 30 marks for Profile of the applying candidates; and 30 marks for the performance of the appearing candidate in the personal interview.
  • The profiling criteria will depend upon the academic profile, diversity, and work experience.
  • The merit list prepared based on various factors including reservation criteria will be used by IIM Jammu to shortlist the applying candidates to issue the acceptance letter to them.
  • The candidate has to pay the acceptance fees prescribed by IIM Jammu within the prescribed date in order to finalize the admission.
  • If the Candidates withdraw after the date mentioned and after making the acceptance fees, the refund will not be issued to them.

IIM Jammu will be shortlisting the candidates for its courses through CAP. This shortlisting of candidates has the following stages in it.

Stage1: Shortlisting criteria for PI Process

After clearing the CAT Exam 2022, the students need to secure the below mentioned cut off in the sections like Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning Percentile, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension Percentile, Quantitative Ability Percentile, and Overall Percentile. These shortlisted candidates will be proceeding to the next stage of Personal Interview.

Stage 2: Criteria for Merit List Preparation

After the finish of the Personal Interview by all the shortlisted candidates, IIM Jammu will be preparing the merit based on the prescribed marks in the categories of marking like CAT exam, Personal interview, and profiles.

IIM Jammu will be using the CAT 2022 score secured by the candidates to allot them a maximum of 40 marks for preparing the merit list.

Personal Interview

IIM Jammu will be scoring the candidates based on their performance in the personal interview to allot them a maximum of 30 marks for preparing the merit list.

Profiles Checking

IIM Jammu will be scoring the candidates based on their profiles in three sub-categories to allot them a maximum of 30 marks for preparing the merit list. The maximum possible for each of the categories has been tabulated below.

Academic Profile

The category of Academic Profile is further divided into three sub-categories like marks in 10th class, marks in 12th class, and marks in the graduation degree. The minimum marks to be secured by each candidate is given below.

Work Experience

The work experience of the applying candidates are also taken into account for preparing the candidates. Diversity

A maximum of 13 marks gets allotted to the candidates while preparing the merit list on the basis of two factors like Gender diversity and academic discipline diversity of the applying candidates.
